Guided Tours

Atlantis can schedule guided tours to a variety of destinations in B.C.. Local guided tours include:

Whytecliffe Park - the most popular place for local divers; it is located near horseshoe bay and offers a variety of different dives. Some of the local species of marine life you may encounter here are: Plumose anemone, painted anemone, sea pens, harbour seals, sea stars, sea cucumbers, nudibranchs, ling cod, greenlings, china rockfish, pacific octopus, dogfish, jelly fish and much more.

Lookout Point - is located just around the corner from Whytecliffe Park. This site is a wonderful wall dive or drift dive. It is recommended for more advanced or experienced divers. Some local species you may encounter are very similar to Whytecliffe. You may also encounter statues of pigs or a friendly gnome.

Ansell Point - a lovely wall dive located 15 minutes north of Horseshoe bay. You will see heaps of sea squirts, some octopus, ling cod, urchins, perch, greenlings, sea stars, many different species of anemone, giant barnacles, shrimp, crabs, and the local attraction, our resident pair of mating wolf eels.

Porteau Cove - is another very popular site for local divers. It is located approximately 40 minutes north of Horseshoe bay. You can visit the wreck of the Nakaya or go play on the jungle gym made for divers. Check out the tire reef, sailboat, tug, or the countless other objects strewn about the sea floor. There is an abundance of local marine life to observe and an easy access to the site itself.

Atlantis organizes a fun dive every wednesday afternoon. We run day trips to the gulf islands, weekend trips, livaboard trips and special events. Contact us for news and up comming specials! Local 604-669-8862
